For the 7th year in a row, this delightfully quirky annual tradition is rallying hundreds of volunteers to turn your pet photos into one-of-a-kind artwork, all to raise funds for the lifesaving programs at Oakland Animal Services.
This year, over 800 volunteer artists ranging from enthusiastic first-timers to seasoned pros are ready to go.
We call it “Bad Art” because we can’t guarantee the results, but while some of it is surprisingly great, we can promise it’s always unique, heartfelt, and hilarious!
💌 How It Works:
- Go to our Bad Art website here to donate:
- $30: Receive a digital portrait sent straight to your inbox!
- $125: Receive both a digital portrait and a physical portrait shipped to your door!
- Submit your photo: Fill out the form emailed to you with your pet’s photo and details (or a friend’s pet!).
- Enjoy! Sit back while one of our volunteer artists works their magic. We’ll notify you via email as soon as your artwork is ready!
Every volunteer artist brings their own unique style. Order one for your own pets or send a portrait as a fun gift!
Due to high demand, delivery times vary, but all digital and physical portraits will be completed and delivered by mid-October, we promise it’ll be worth the wait!
