In the first quarter of 2017, Mickey's Medical Fund paid for more than a dozen dental procedures, including extractions, cleaning, and x-rays. The shelter takes in many great animals but a number of them have terrible teeth - the pain and discomfort can lead to feeding and grooming issues, or can make the animal grouchy and irritable.
