Looking to lend a hand? Friends of Oakland Animal Services relies on volunteers to support our work! Check out our open volunteer positions below:
- Data entry/data cleaning: help us keep our data organized; requires strong attention to detail and some experience with Salesforce and/or Excel/Google Sheets.
- Website volunteer: help maintain and update our website; requires WordPress proficiency.
- Mailchimp volunteer: provide advice and support on best practices for managing our email list/campaigns; requires Mailchimp proficiency.
- Outreach volunteer: participate in community events e.g. farmers’ markets, street fairs, etc.

We are also currently looking for volunteers to help with one-time or occasional tasks (e.g. picking up donations, distributing/posting flyers, transporting supplies to events, etc.). If you’re interested in helping out, please complete our short-term volunteer form.
