Friends of Oakland Animal Services relies on volunteers to support our work. Check out our open volunteer positions below:
- Outreach volunteer (participate in community events e.g. farmers’ markets, street fairs, etc.). We are currently looking for volunteers for the following events:
- Sat 6/7: Adopt-a-Palooza event at Oakland Animal Services (1101 29th Ave)
- Sun 6/15: Pet Food Express Piedmont (3868 Piedmont Avenue)
- More events will be added soon!
- Graphic design volunteer

We are also looking for volunteers to help with distributing FOAS postcards and posters to cafes, businesses, workplaces, etc. (any place that is willing to have our materials). If you can help with this, email us at volunteer@friendsofoas.org
