A lifelong animal lover, Chloe has been volunteering as a dog foster for Oakland Animal Services (OAS) since 2022. She has fostered over 30 dogs, as well as kittens and rabbits. She has volunteered with San Diego Humane Society, San Francisco Animal Care and Control, and now Oakland Animal Services.
In addition to animal welfare, Chloe participates in volunteer opportunities across the bay — during the school year, you can find her mentoring students in STEM through the Gene Academy program in South San Francisco. She also volunteers with Alameda Point Collaborative's "Farm to Market" program, providing job training to people experiencing homelessness.
In her spare time, you can find her in her garden or picking up a new foster at OAS. She currently has two dogs: Peanut, a small chihuahua mix, and Luna, a purebred shepherd (who was a foster fail from OAS). She also has a leopard gecko named Gunther and a ball python named Bones.
