Director
Julianne has been a lifelong volunteer with various organizations around the Bay Area. Since joining the Oakland Animal Services (OAS) dog volunteer team in 2017, she has held roles such as dog volunteer, puppy socializer, hosting volunteer open houses, and doing transports. Currently, Julianne is a volunteer mentor, puppy foster, and also part of the social media team running Instagram. In 2018, Julianne and her partner wrote a story about their fospice (foster + hospice) dog Samson (and foster fail) and won a $25k grant for FOAS from Petco Foundation!
Julianne is the Director of Project Management running the Consumer Brands PMO at Amyris in Emeryville. Her background is in new product introduction, process improvement, brand incubation, and is a certified project manager with Project Management Institute.
Julianne is a Bay Area native and currently lives in Oakland with her partner Dan and her first rescue dog Holly and OAS alum Samson.
