President
Trish has served on the FOAS Board since late 2019 and has been an active Oakland Animal Services volunteer since 2015. She has worked primarily with cats at OAS, helping to assess, socialize, and adopt them into loving homes. She’s also actively involved with TNR (trap-neuter-release) of community cats, having trapped, fixed, returned or get adopted nearly 100 cats and kittens. In 2019, Trish traveled to Ladakh, India, where her TNR experience was put to use while volunteering to help spay and neuter street dogs. Trish became co-president of FOAS in September 2022 and president in March 2023.
By day, Trish works as a web developer for the UC Museum of Paleontology at UC Berkeley, building web and online resources for K-16 educators and students. She creates pet portraits to raise money for FOAS and sketches her own pets daily for fun. When not traveling, Trish and her husband live in Oakland with their adopted cats and their OAS alum special-needs dog Lucy.
